July Fourth Celebration – 2017

Chinese United Association of Greater Phoenix will host the Annual
Fourth of July Celebration of our local community on that date at –
2207 N. 74th Street, Scottsdale AZ
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
(ample parking in lot or on quiet neighborhood streets)
A free buffet lunch of American and Chinese holiday favorites will be
served on a first-come basis from –
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The entertainment program this year will bring culture and happy moments throughout the event. In addition to special choral music there will be a dance
as well as an exhibition table tennis finals match. Young and old will surely enjoy this celebration of our Nation’s Birthday. Come one, come all!
CUAGP has coordinated this Independence Day commemoration since 1968 when our Association was founded to be an umbrella for now 18 longstanding
non-profit service clubs in our community. The local Chinese American community has been celebrating the Fourth since the 1930’s even during the
era of the Chinese Exclusion Act (1882-1943).
